Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 42-years-old male. I have bumps on my penis with yellow pus discharge and painful testicles. I recovered from severe COVID with complications and took a series of antibiotics, steroids, and several other medications to treat COVID.

My wife had a yeast infection, and we had intercourse when we thought it was gone. She also has had herpes for more than 15 years but did not have an outbreak so far.

Kindly help with the treatment.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

I request you to share picture for better understanding.

According to your complaints it can be a bacterial infection.

I suggest you to use tablet Augmentin 625 mg (Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid) twice daily for five days after food, tablet Candiforce 100 mg (Itraconazole) twice daily after food for five days, tablet Zerodol-P (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) twice daily after food for five days, and tablet Pan-40 (Pantoprazole) twice a day before food for five days.

Apply ointment T-Bact (Mupirocin) for local application once a day for five days.

The above mentioned medications works for both bacterial and fungal infection.

Take care.

Kind regards.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

The pictures you sent look like a mixed infection (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity). It is both a bacterial and fungal infection.

I hope you have started the medications. If not, start as soon as possible before the infection gets deep-seated.

Thanks.
