Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have had mood swings for a few months. At first, I thought it might be because of periods, but eventually, I started to experience it all day. I wake up normally, but at night time, I get depressed and overthink. My husband's reaction toward me increases my depression. He is not caring, not at all concerned about me, so many days I cried to him for love. He did not make any moves, so I started to abuse him physically. I have suicidal thoughts and tried and stopped halfway. Please help me with mood swings, suicidal thoughts, overthinking, and compulsive thinking. I am not on medication for these problems, and these are affecting my family life. I have a thyroid issue and taking Thyroxine 12.5 mcg.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I am really sorry to hear about your current condition and for the support from your family. But physical abuse to your partner is unacceptable. Most of your symptoms suggest severe depression, which needs medication like antidepressants. Low thyroid levels could also contribute to low mood. Please let me know when we could talk on a video platform so I can prescribe medication. Right now, you lack motivation, so lifestyle modification and exercise would be difficult to do.

I hope my answer helped you.

Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

I do not like to appear on a video platform. I prefer to call or chat. My condition is serious. Please prescribe me some antidepressants and sleep medications.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can completely understand your concern, and I am worried about you. You need urgent support and care. I think at this point in time, antidepressant medication is necessary. The government has set certain guidelines. We can not write medications without seeing or talking to a patient. To issue one valid prescription, I need to arrange a call. You can also visit a local psychiatrist for a valid prescription. Please let me know your preference so we can arrange a phone call through icliniq.com.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
