Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 5' 9" tall and having 251 pounds of weight. I feel a state of weakness in the shoulder and femur area and sometimes on the cheek, under the eyes. It is only on the left side. It is not numbness or tingling on the surface but an internal sensation, especially lately. It does not stop me from moving, and the intensity is different; I cannot fit it in a pattern. It does not manifest all the time. I do not know if something triggers it or under what circumstances it occurs. Sometimes I feel these sensations at bedtime, quite intensely, but not always. Long walks do well, but no other movement. I tried homeopathic treatment without results. I have thrombophlebitis in my right foot ankle. It was a fracture that was operated on late, ten days after production. After the operation, the foot started to swell and was cyanotic (22 years back). Currently, I am using Alle gel and taking Diolex daily on a doctor's recommendation. The foot looks almost normal. I have also had hypertension for the past six years, and I am taking Twynsta and Betaloc daily. I exercise a lot every day, and I walk four to five kilometers in the desire to lose weight. I weighed 297 pounds six months ago. I eat pretty healthily prepared by my household, but lately, I have drunk alcohol quite a lot. I had significant troubles last year, problems like illness and death of my sister affected me very much. The symptoms have been around for more than years, but they have become more frequent and annoying in the last year. I do not wake up at night. I do not know if I have other problems. How can I manage this? What test can be done? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. I am so sorry about your sister's demise. You have quite a few issues at the moment, but not to worry. I would like to know few things. Have you checked your cholesterol levels recently? Are you diabetic? Is it difficult to carry out the regular activity? Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply. I lead a normal life as a pensioner. I will do the tests and come back.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Alright then.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply. I have two blood sugar and cholesterol devices. I did tests in the morning, without meals every other day. My blood glucose levels are 133, 129, 136 mg/dL in the first device and 124, 114 mg/dL in the second device. Cholesterol levels are 164, 133, 143 mg/dl in the first device and 150, 147, 150 mg/dL in the second apparatus. Triglyceride level is 144 mg/dL. I can do normal physical exercise for my age, ping pong with my robot, and walk about four to five kilometers daily to lose weight. Stress and trouble make me much worse. Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Your sugar test and lipids are all good and within normal values. I suggest you Pregabalin 75 mg daily for at least two weeks. I hope you get well soon.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
