Patient's Query

Hello Doctor,

I faced 15 days of continuous nightfall a month ago even though I had not indulged in any sexual activity. Now I have noticed that my ejaculation time is less, and after ejaculation, my body feels tired and starts to pain, especially my chest and back with no energy in legs. I am also forgetting things and names.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Wet dreams or nightfall called nocturnal emission is normal. It can be due to increased erotic stimulus mentally or physically or visually without sex or masturbation. At this age you will be having good testosterone production, there will be 20000 sperms produced every minute and that is a lot of semen production. You need to let it out by masturbation or sex if not it will come out on its own when you are relaxed (sleeping). Since you know the cause, treating is easy. Reduce the frequent erotic stimulus or masturbate or have sex.

The ways to reduce the frequent erotic stimulus are:

  1. Limit the intake of caffeinated beverages and foods after late afternoon. Consuming caffeine before bedtime can stimulate the brain and cause erotic dreams.
  2. Take a cold shower before bedtime. This decreases the excessive sensitivity in the genital region.
  3. Limit and control your stress levels. Stress can be a triggering factor to anything and everything. Hence to obtain a peaceful night sleep, keeping a check on your stress levels is necessary.
  4. Avoid sleeping on your back or stomach. These positions are known to cause sleep orgasms. Better sleep on your side.
  5. Exercise regularly and keep your body and mind relaxed. Excessive tension or anxiety and tiredness together elevate your chances of sleep orgasms.
  6. Avoid watching and reading erotic content at night. These stimulate both your body and mind and result in wet dreams while you are asleep.

Consult your specialist doctor, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.

  1. Take a tablet of Pari 10mg (Paroxetine) once a night for 15 days.
  2. Take a tablet of Astymin M forte (Essential aminoacids, vitamins, Methylcobalamin and mineraal capsules) once daily for 30 days to boost energy levels.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
