Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got a bump on my nose that went down after about a week, but never went all the way away and was very tiny. The site got iritatted and now it is a really big bump on my nose. How can I get this bump to go away? A bump in the same area occured a few months back. And I use Clean and Clear face wash.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You can try Nadibact (Nadifloxacin) cream twice daily for 15 days. Answer the below questions for details. Is it painful and tender to touch? Is it a pus-filled lesion? Is it soft or firm or hard in consistency? Do you have any burning sensation? Do you have any itching? Will you do excess scratching or rubbing of the lesion? Do you pop or prick the pimple? Do you had any history of insect bite? Do you had any injury or microtrauma?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your reply. When it first occurred, it was painful to touch and not anymore. I am not sure if it is pus-filled, but it is filled with something, and it is firm. It had a burning sensation initially, and I do not pop or prick the bump. I did not have any history of an insect bite or trauma to my knowledge. I work out often, so maybe because I work out a lot and sweat a lot, it opens up my pores.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is a Nodulocystic lesion. Use Nadibact cream twice daily for 15 days. Take Tablet Ciplox (Ciprofloxacin) 500 mg once in a day after breakfast for five days. Use Ahaglow (Glycolic acid, Aloe vera, and Citric acid) face wash (wash face two times daily) and Cetaphil (Colloidal oatmeal, Ceramide and patented Filaggrin) cream after bath for 20 days. Take Tablet Limcee (Vitamin C) 500 mg at night for 30 days. Please avoid scratching or popping lesions as it can cause secondary bacterial infection and increase in size. Avoid sweat work. Any other dermatological issues? Follow-up for any doubts. Regards.
