Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had unprotected non-penetrative cuddling with my boyfriend during my ovulation window (which might be the most fertile period). We were both naked and his penis touched my thigh, and tummy but not my vagina. He did not ejaculate but there was precum. He also fingered me but we are not sure if precum went in. I felt bloated two days after that, and have been feeling bloated, and gassy, with frequent farting throughout the whole week. I am very afraid that I might be pregnant. My period is expected to come in a week and I had not done any pregnancy tests. I do not usually feel that bloated and gassy, but this time is more serious than usual. Can anyone tell me what is the possibility that I might be pregnant? I do not see any signs besides bloatedness and a gassy stomach. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your case and understand your concern. In such situations, there is very less chance of getting pregnant. Pregnancy signs would not come this early, those symptoms must be because of indigestion. But for safety, you can take an emergency contraceptive pill like i-Pill (Levonorgestrel) or unwanted 72 (Levonorgestrel) but that should be consumed within 72 hours of sexual activity. Otherwise, I would suggest waiting until your due date before coming to any conclusion.

Thank you.
