Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I suffered a stretch to my penis during sex, and now it has gone completely numb and no sensation. Is there any treatment that will restore the sensation? Will the nerves heal on their own?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms could be related to a damaged nerve. But, the good thing is that you are going to recover spontaneously. I recommend taking vitamin B complex supplements and Alpha-Lipoic acid (600 mg twice daily) to help improve your situation faster.

You should try to be patient as it may take up to some months to recover.

I hope this helps.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your kind help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If this situation persists, I recommend consulting with a neurologist and performing nerve conduction tests to examine the nerves in the penis. These tests are very specific and not performed in every medical center. They are usually performed only in specialized centers for erectile dysfunction.

You should discuss with your doctor on this issue.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
