Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have two cysts in the left ovary of 25x30 and 25x40mm. Can I try for pregnancy?

Kindly advice.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Patients with multiple follicles can also try for pregnancy, but it is better to evaluate the cyst to check whether are developing follicles with or without response to externally induced hormones. Small follicles or cysts should regress with time, so they need six-month ultrasound monitoring. I suggest you to get serum; you should have Serum CA 125 tumor marker to exclude any metastatic effect. As here, you have no past drug and medical history you have mentioned, so I am generally advising. Suppose the normal cyst is not increasing in size. In that case, you can try for pregnancy, but better to avoid any externally induced hormones as you could have hyperstimulation syndrome in case the cyst is not reducing in size.

  • Have sex in the fertile period of the cycle.
  • Have a healthy diet, daily walk, and try to have a normal BMI (Body Mass Index)
  • Check and have complete treatment of any health issue you have.
  • Do have recreational activities and avoid recreational drugs.

I hope things will be better.

Best of luck.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
