Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had pain in my abdomen and a cyst in my right ovary, which is about 4 to 5 mm, for the past two years. I underwent ultrasonography last month, which revealed a cyst in my left ovary measuring approximately 1.2 mm. I have been on tablet Dienogest 2 mg daily since then.

Kindly help.

Hello.

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I went through your history and understood your concern. Your symptoms suggest hormonal imbalance, and your cyst size is very small. If you do not have any symptoms, there is no need to worry about it. You can continue with the same medications.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

My right ovary is moderate in size, which is approximately 6 cm. Also, I have continuous pain.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If you have pain in the right ovary and if the cyst size exceeds 6 cm, you can undergo cyst removal surgery; otherwise there is no need to worry about it.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
