Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have irregular periods. After an ultrasound, I came to know that I have multiple cysts over the periphery of ovaries. I want to conceive as I am trying for two months but failed. Tell me what to do.
Kindly help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
The scan report you have mentioned (attachment removed to protect patient identity) shows that you have a condition called PCOS (polycystic ovaries syndrome). It is because of hormonal changes. There is nothing to worry about. Lifestyle modifications, fiber-rich diet, plenty of fluids, vegetables and fruits, exercise, yoga and weight loss will help you. Get started with Folic acid supplements. Try during your fertile period which is between 12 to 24 days of your periods.
Kindly help.
