Hello doctor,
I have been overweight with a complaint of PCOS for the past five years. My weight is 181 pounds, and my height is 5 feet 3 inches. I have been trying different weight loss techniques and diets, but nothing has helped much. Can you suggest a diet that will help me maintain my weight and stay in good health?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have gone through your case, and I understand your concern.
PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and weight are correlated with each other. You should maintain your weight within BMI (body mass index). You cannot just reduce weight with diet. Along with diet, you should do regular exercise. Have green leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet. You can also take the help of online applications for weight management. They tell you how many calories you should take, and calculate your daily diet, so accordingly, you can adjust your diet. Are you taking any medicines for PCOS? Sometimes hormonal tablets also increase weight.
Hope this information helps you.
Thank you.
