Ovulation Induction

Ovulation induction is when the process of ovulation (the release of a matured egg from the ovaries) is stimulated with the help of drugs. It is also used to encourage the development of ovarian follicles in the ovaries in cases of anovulation or oligoovulation. The medications used are Antiestrogen (Clomifene citrate, Tamoxifen) and Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
