Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am having on and off pain in my left breast. Is it a serious issue to think about? Would you please check my report and tell me the reason for the breast pain?

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Breast pain could be due to various reasons. Kindly answer me the following to help you better;

1) Do you the pain always, or is it just near your periods?

2) Do you have a fever?

3) Could you please explain the nature of the pain?

4) Is there any swelling, redness, or rashes in the breast? If there is such an issue, please attach an image so that I could evaluate it further.

5) Are you having any lump in the breast?

6) Do you have any nipple discharge?

Kindly elaborate on your issue and attach an image and follow up to help you further.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

The pain is always present. I do not have fever, swelling, redness, or any rashes. Everything is fine with the breast but having pain.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Since there is no other lesion on the breast but only breast pain, I would advise you of the following;

1) Use tight-fitting breast support.

2) Take tablet Meftal (Mefenamic acid) 500 mg twice daily for five days, capsule Simrose (Primrose oil) 1000 mg thrice daily for 14 days, and tablet Evion (Vitamin E) 400 mg once daily for 14 days.

3) Keep ice compression on the breast for 14 days.

The pain will subside, and you would be fine.

Regards.
