Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have undergone penis augmentation using a cross-linked dextran gel injection. While doing sex, I got a cut in my penis, and it bled a little. While doing sex, I feel some pain at the contact point of the penis skin, and it is red. Please suggest medicine for this problem.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the attachment (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Apply Bacitracin or Framycetin cream twice daily over the area. Before each application wash off the previous application with lukewarm water. Do not wear tight innerwear and prevent extreme sweating. Take care of the pubic area. It will get healed soon after two days.

Try to restrain from sex or masturbation for a couple of days. Try to rule out condom allergy. If there is no wound healing or if there is any pus discharge or if you have a fever, then you can take antibiotics. Then revert to me with a fresh picture. Please mention about your age, habits, diabetic status, and drug history.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
