Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My husband is 40 years old and has pain in his penis while having sex, walking, and wearing undergarments. I am worried about him. Is he suffering from prostate cancer? He does not have other diseases or serious illnesses. He drinks alcohol and smokes every day.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Pain in the penis can be due to the following conditions:

  1. Phimosis - It is a condition in which the foreskin becomes tight, causing pain and discomfort.
  2. Short frenulum - Surgical management is the cure for short frenulum.
  3. Forceful masturbation.
  4. Injury.

I suggest him to take the tablet Zerodol-P (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) and drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration (consult a specialist doctor, talk with him or her, and take medications with their consent). I request you send the affected area images and get an ultrasound done.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
