Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 33-year-old female, my weight is 55 kg, and my height is 4.5 feet. I have a regular menstrual cycle, but I recently noticed that each time I pee and when I am almost done, I feel a slight pain around my abdomen. Hope it will not be a medical issue when I am pregnant. The last time I was pregnant before, I lost it. I also notice that each time I pee, I see blood and feel this same sweet and sharp pain. Can you tell me what the problem is and why it occurred? I do not take any medication.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

Make sure that you are not pregnant by having serum beta hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), a blood pregnancy test. If it comes positive, then have a transvaginal scan immediately to know whether you need evacuation or not. It could be urine infection, pelvic infection, inflammation or inflammatory disease, pelvic pathology like fibroid or adenomyosis, cervical erosion, etc. I suggest you have a urinalysis, urine culture, high vaginal swab, cervical smear, transvaginal scan, and a local hysteroscopic examination. Collect all the laboratory results and discuss them here. Have plenty of water and cranberry juice. Follow strict hygiene and wear soft, comfortable undergarments. Use condoms to avoid sexually transmitted infections. After collection of high vaginal swabs, have tablet Doxycycline 100 mg 12 hourly and tablet Metronidazole 400 mg 8 hourly for seven to ten days. Discuss all reports here.

I hope things will be better.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
