Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a bump on my palm that has been there for about a month and a half. It is red, hurts when I press on it, swollen, and kind of burns every once in a while.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

First, I need to know if you have been dealing with any chemicals that might have caused allergy and changes in the local skin. Plus, any new cosmetic started recently? Stress? If nothing, then, it is a case of atopic dermatitis. But first you should determine the primary cause.

For the moment, I can only advise to:

1. Wash with warm water and soap.

2. Soak in warm water, vinegar, baking soda for at least 15 minutes.

3. Rinse well, dry well.

4. Apply tripple antibiotic ointment in the morning and at bedtime, during the day, apply hand moisturizer lotion.

Looking forward to get the required additional informations.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
