Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been experiencing heart palpitations, chest tightness, and fatigue for almost a year. My muscles have become rigid and lack coordination. Earlier, I was on Aspirin 75 mg for ten days but had to stop taking this medicine due to bradycardia. I had undergone ECHO and ECG tests and have a video record. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern. Palpitations are an unusual awareness of one's own heartbeat. The palpitation may occur due to various reasons. The reasons are fast heart rate, slower heart rate, irregular heart rate, being overcautious about heartbeats, lean patients can feel heartbeats in the resting position. Therefore, I suggest you avoid being overcautious about heart palpitations. Perform aerobic exercise regularly to condition the heart. This will gradually reduce palpitations. In case you still feel palpitations relax and count your pulse rate. If the pulse rate is more than 100 bpm at rest or irregular, have an echocardiogram. I hope your queries were answered. Thank you and take care.
