Papular Or Pustular Acne

A small red skin bump with a diameter less than 5 mm is called a papule, and when this gets filled with pus, it is called a pustule. Acne can become pustular due to bacterial infection, excess oil production, and excess secretion of male sex hormones. It is also triggered by too much stress, consuming too much sugar, and taking corticosteroids.
