Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My father has had Parkinson's disease for the past seven years, and I wonder if we can cure it or if it can only be managed but not cured. Because my family thinks it is incurable. Could you please provide us with Parkinson's disease guidance and how to deal with it?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative illness that worsens with age and time. Currently, there is no cure available. However, some medications can significantly improve patients' quality of life, workability, and mobility. So, it is manageable but not curable, in my opinion.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
