Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been a PCOD patient for the last four years. I am currently taking Mychiro tablet. Previously was taking Corectia M tablet for PCOD. Recently had taken ultrasound of the abdomen to check my condition. I want a diet plan which can help me in reducing my weight. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

I suggest the following:

1) Use olive oil or sunflower oil for regular cooking. You have to avoid ghee, cheese, and butter thoroughly. Use less oil for everyday cooking.

2) In the morning, I suggest 200 mL milk without sugar with salads.

3) Take two flat bread, one bowl pulses, and one bowl vegetables (less oily) for lunch.

4) Do not consume rice. In the evening, consume one fruit.

5) At night, only oats should be taken.

6) Go for a walk after meals, especially after dinner, for 45 to 60 minutes.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

But it would be more helpful if you could please send me a detailed diet chart. Also, consider that I am a vegetarian. Please guide.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Exercise is more important than diet in reducing weight. So I suggest you the diet mentioned above with exercise. Target weight loss should be two to three kilogram per month. Following the above suggested will help you with your symptoms.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
