Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This is the diet plan for PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease) and weight loss. In the nutrition plan, drink two glasses of warm water with one lemon on getting up. Have a brisk walk for 30 minutes in the morning sunlight. Do not take tea or snacks before breakfast. Take breakfast at 9.30 AM with any seasonal fruits of 200 to 300 grams. You can take papaya or muskmelon or watermelon or apple or pineapple or guava or pomegranate. At 10.00 AM, take a small bowl of oats or poha or upma with cut veggies and no oil.

At 11.30 AM, take a cup of green tea. During the lunch at 1.30 PM, take 200 grams of salads (containing any two of them such as cucumber, tomato, carrot, sprouts and add lemon) and two bowls of curry, (containing any cooked veggies or daal with less oil and salt and no frying) and take multi-grain or a bowl of brown rice.

Eat salads first. In the evening, 5.30 PM, you can take green tea, coconut water with mixed plain dry fruits, 25 grams of soaked almonds, walnuts, dates, raisins, roasted peanuts, makhana. At dinner, 8.30 PM, take 150 grams of moong sprouts or sweet corn salad or one glass vegetable soup or spinach or tomato or pumpkin or take two bowls of veggies as in lunch or one multigrain roti or one bowl of khichdi with cut veggies without oil. Do not eat anything after dinner. The foods to be avoided are biscuits, bread, packed food, noodles, fried food, maida items, milk items, white sugar (use jaggery), refined oil (use a half teaspoon of mustard, til, or coconut oil only to top), white salt (use rock salt), and non-veg eggs.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Since I am working, I have to reach the office by 9 AM and come back by 7:30 PM. So I have to take my breakfast by 7:30 AM. I have a lunch break at 2 PM only. So what can be the options?

Answered by Vishal Kumar Wadi

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Take breakfast at 8.30 AM, lunch is fine at 2 PM and finish dinner before 8.30 PM.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
