Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 25-year-old male. While having sex, I had a tear in my foreskin, which led to profuse bleeding. However, it stopped after some time. It happened yesterday night, and I feel the pain when the penis gets hard. During intercourse, I sometimes feel the pain, and it is normal again after a while. I feel no pain when I urinate or otherwise. I do not have any other medical issues, and I am not on any medication. Which specialist do I have to consult? Please advise medication for early cure and recovery.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Since how many days are you facing this problem?

Seek medical help soon, and for the pain, you can take tablet Paracetamol 500 mg in case of emergency whenever required. If there is swelling that is not going away, it needs to be checked by a surgeon or a general physician. An ultrasound of the injured part will help us understand if there is any fluid collection present. Try to keep the injured area clean. Avoid having sexual intercourse till it heals properly.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to contact me for any further queries in the future.
