Penile Discharge

Discharges of the penis other than the semen or urine are called penile discharges. Penile discharges can be transparent or cloudy depending on the presence of pus and may also contain blood. Penile discharge is widely seen in urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted infections. Infections that cause penile discharge include chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas, genital herpes, urethritis, etc. It is associated with pain, burning sensation during urination, itching, and increased frequency of urination.
