Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

When I pull my foreskin back during erection, it is very irritating, sometimes to the point of being painful. Can you help me with that?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thanks for the query. I can understand your concern. According to your statement, you have been suffering from foreskin being painful and irritating during an erection. Such conditions may result from balanitis, trauma, persistent erection or priapism, Peyronie's (a disorder in which scar link tissue, called plaque, forms under the skin of the penis) disease, etc. The treatment depends on the causes. You can undergo some investigations like urine R/M/E (routine urine) and C/S (culture and sensitivity), urethral swab for C/S, etc., to find out the exact causes for your present sufferings and then treat them accordingly. In case of any other query, ask me. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for your query. It is only painful when I pull it back during an erection or retracted during sex.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thanks for joining us again. It may result from Phimosis or Paraphimosis. Phimosis happens when the foreskin tightens so much that it is too tight to pull back. It can develop painful symptoms. Apply steroids like Hydrocortisone cream to the foreskin daily and take painkillers like Ibuprofen, Naproxen, etc., to subside the pain. Paraphimosis is a condition in which people cannot pull the foreskin forward over the penis tip, associated with pain in the penis, and swelling in the penis' tip. Reducing the swelling at the tip of the penis either by little incision or circumcision is the treatment of choice here. Strictly maintaining your hygiene and using Hydrocortisone cream on your affected area may subside your present sufferings. If any other query, knock me, and I will try to reply to you further. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
