Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a problem with my penis regarding the foreskin. I am 18 years old, and the foreskin still does not return. Please suggest some solutions for the above problem.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The most common cause of the condition is poor genital hygiene. You see a lot of dead cells and bacteria get collected in the space between the head of the penis and foreskin, making foul-smelling grayish-white substances, known as smegma, come out.

If you do not clean it daily by retracting your foreskin, it may lead to chronic infection and inflammation. Such chronic inflammation causes the foreskin to get adhered to the head of the penis. This condition is called phimosis.

Try to retract the foreskin while under the shower using mild soap as a lubricant. If it does not get retracted and cause severe pain, you will have to visit a surgeon to cut off the extra foreskin and expose the glans of the penis. It is a minor procedure and will benefit from having a clean genital.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
