Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a few pimples and a few pimple scars mainly on my cheeks. I consulted a dermatologist who prescribed me Faceclin gel for the morning and Acnorm Lacto calamine lotion at night for the scars. I have oily skin and I used Cetaphil oily skin cleanser twice a day. The Acnorm lotion is too watery and I have been told that there are other better gels for hyperpigmentation. I had a pimple issue three years back for which I was prescribed Clindac gel and Aziderm and it worked well but I stopped using it after a year. Should I stick with the Acnorm lotion or any other gel for the scars? Should I stick with the Cetaphil oily cleanser or is there a better cleanser for my skin type? Kindly suggest a good sunscreen suitable for my oily skin.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I suggest,

1. Apply Nadibact cream (Nadifloxacin) twice daily for days 10 days.

2. Wash face with D Acne face wash (Glycolic Acid, and Salicylic Acid) twice daily for 10 days.

3. Take a tablet of Antoxid HC (Manganese, Zinc, beta Carotene, Copper, and L-Selenium) once daily after breakfast for 10 days.

4. Use Acne UV sunscreen for 30 minutes before going outdoors. Eat food rich in vitamins A and C.

5. Eat carrots, papaya, muskmelon, mangoes, berries, avocado, etc.

6. Drink plenty of water.

7. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.

8. Avoid the sun between 11 am to 4 pm.

9. Use Sunscreen.

10. Take sun protection measures.

11. Avoid scratching and rubbing of lesions.

12. Avoid popping or pricking pimples.

Follow up after 10 days.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

By D acne face wash, do you mean the foaming face wash or the soft gel face wash? I have attached a picture of both.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Soft gel face wash.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
