Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 24 years old and always think about sex. Any sexual content catches my eye, and I become very excited, and my penis starts to precum. It happens very often. I do not touch my penis, and my excitement grows and grows. However, after a while, it is difficult to have a complete erection. My erection is at about 50 %.

Is this normal?

Am I overthinking?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The problem you described has two parts.

Suppose you have a hyperactive sexual desire. The chances are less because, during adulthood, hormonal levels are quite high, which controls our sexual desire. Most males have strong desires.

Suppose you have a problem with premature ejaculation. The chances are again less. Because the sexual activity is initiated and controlled by the mind, at times, due to overexcitement, people can have premature ejaculation, but if this persists, you may go for a psychiatric consultation to ascertain a diagnosis after a detailed discussion.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
