Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am planning for a pregnancy after a miscarriage. Please review my attached reports.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. The cytomegalovirus titers show past infection, which is probably the reason for the miscarriage. The rubella titers for the current infection are borderline. Have you had a recent fever or rash or come in contact with anyone with those features? You can repeat the test after a month, and then if negative, plan pregnancy.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have not faced any symptoms like rash or fever. Should I be worried about rubella if I test positive again? Can it be a problem in planning a pregnancy?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is borderline positive, so it would not be a cause for worry. Even if you have had an asymptomatic infection, you can plan a pregnancy after three months as it resolves within three months.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
