Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a lactating mother. I have PIH. My kid is just 16 days over. Now, I am taking Vilwadi Lehyam 0.18 oz, Jirakadyarishtam one tablespoon, and Dasamoolarishtam one tablespoon before food without medical advice.

Can I continue this? Currently, I am taking tablet Labebet 100 mg, Shelcal 500 mg.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

After delivery a mother needs care. She feels pain and tiredness. Also, an increase in metabolism help in the production of milk. To restore strength and stamina, you should take Jeevaneeya (Jivaniya Gana, Meda, Kakoli) and Balya (Shatavari, Sariva, Brahmi) ayurvedic medicines. You need to do a regular massage. You are consuming the right medication. But Jirakadyarishtam and Dasamularishtam should be taken twice a day after meals. Do a whole-body massage with warm Bala oil (Bala, Chinnaruha, Rasna).

To produce sufficient milk for your child, you should take Shatavari granules (Shatavari, Ela, Sharkara) 0.14 oz twice a day with warm milk after meals.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
