Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had sex with my girlfriend 53 days ago. I gave her a tablet Unwanted-72 the next day. After ten days, she had bleeding but not much as usual periods. Is it her period? Her actual period date was 22 days after the day we had sex. Her period did not come. It has been almost two months, but she did not get her periods. She tested herself with Prega News three times at regular intervals. With the last test negative before three days. All three times test was negative. What should I do? Please help. Is it a matter of consciousness or normal?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

She experienced bleeding after 10 days, which is a sign that the tablet Unwanted-72 (Levonorgestrel) has worked because the high level of Progesterone can cause hormonal imbalance and change the hormone levels. Has she experienced irregular menstrual bleeding before? The fact that the urinary test was negative three days before tells that there is no pregnancy. But the test with high accuracy to exclude pregnancy is a Beta-hCG blood test.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Can Prega News be wrong three times? If yes, can I give her a tablet Unwanted kit or any tablet for inducing period (if there is a chance of pregnancy), or should she wait for her period? Can you please suggest? Because time is passing, it makes her worried much. What should I do? Please tell me the right way to solve the problem soon?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I do not think she is pregnant based on the negative test. But also the periods should have come before 11 days. I will suggest you wait because taking any other medication without any examination is not recommended.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
