Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 23 years old. I am taking pills for delayed periods. After three days of taking pills, we had unprotected sex. And after 24 hours, I took Unwanted 72, then after five hours, I vomited. Am I pregnant or not?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I fully understand your concern and will surely help you.

For getting pregnant, the sperms have to be ejaculated inside the vagina of the female. These sperms then need to fertilize an egg that needs to be implanted in the female's uterus. When all this happens successfully, then a female is said to have conceived. In your case, since you have taken medications for delay of periods, so you were not ovulating. Thus there is a low possibility of an egg being present. So there are fewer chances of getting pregnant. Also, you later took an Unwanted 72, and you had vomiting after six hours of taking a dose. Generally, a period of 2 to 3 hours is considered enough for medicines to dissolve In the body, so do not worry as you had vomiting after six hours of taking medicine. Do not worry. You will not get pregnant. Feel free to ask any questions or to share any additional information.
