Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am in my late thirties and I have an issue with early ejaculation. I also get excited before starting the intercourse.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your concern in detail and I will surely help you out. Alcohol and smoking are very strong causes of decreased libido and erectile dysfunction. I suggest you immediately quit both of these if you are a regular user.

Apart from this, high cholesterol level, high sugar level, and high blood pressure are other common causes of erectile dysfunction. I suggest getting tested for these and starting treatment as soon as possible.Once you follow these things, your erectile dysfunction will go away. However, I understand that these things take time so I prescribe you the following medications till the time you adapt to your lifestyle changes.

  1. The tablet Assurans (Sildenafil citrate) 25 mg half an hour before the intercourse.
  2. The tablet Paroxetine (Paroxetine hydrochloride) 25 mg twice daily.

These medications will take care of erectile dysfunction till the time you work on the above mentioned things.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
