Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My daughter is facing a nursing bottle tooth decay; today, only we identified one teeth. Please guide me for treatment and medicine.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and the attached image (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). As a specialist, I am here to help you.

It is a too early sign of caries. Kindly maintain the oral hygiene of the kid. It is essential to wipe the teeth and tongue gently with a clean cotton cloth soaked in water twice a day and is a must before going to bed.

Avoid feeding milk through a bottle while on the bed as that is the leading cause of early childhood caries or nursing bottle caries.

Keep regular dental visit or click an image of the teeth and send it to me for a check-up.

Minor carious activity is noticed in the upper deciduous canine. Simple white tooth filling will arrest any further carious progression.

I hope It helps, and I have addressed all your issues.

Kindly let me know if you have any further queries. I am here to help in every possible way.

Have a good day.

Regards.
