Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Is there a possibility for me to become pregnant if he inserted his penis only for ten seconds? I am not sure whether there was any precum and after that, he used a condom. He never ejaculate inside me. I take regular birth control pills that contain Ethinyl estradiol and Levonorgestrel. I read that it can also be an alternative for morning-after pill. I took my first pill after we had sex. Then second pill was taken after 12 hours and I am planning to take third pill later. Is there a possibility for me to become pregnant?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. For getting pregnant, sperms have to be ejaculated inside the vagina of a female. Then fertilization of the egg takes place. This fertilized egg should get implanted inside the uterus of a female. Finally, a female gets pregnant after successful implantation. In your case, if you had a precum, it has some sperms in it. But your availability of eggs is not known as it is dependent on the ovulation pattern of females. Kindly share your last menstrual period date. As you were taking birth control pills and he has used condom for the entire sex other than ten seconds, so there is no possibility in you to be pregnant.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
