Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have viewed the images (attachment removed to protect patient identity). I can see dry, scaly, red patches. This seems like psoriasis vulgaris rather than skin infection. Psoriasis usually presents as dry, red, well defined, scaly patches on extensors like the elbow, knee, scalp, knuckles, etc. Take care.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

What are the medicines to be taken? Please elaborate in brief.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Use a moisturizer, twice daily, like, Venusia Max cream. Over that, use Temovate ointment (Clobetasol propionate), twice daily. Take tablet Teczine 5 mg (Levocetirizine) once a day for itching. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
