Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 15 years old, and I am an athlete. My health is important to me. I have been having sexual thoughts for about a month, and I feel a sensation in my penis that goes away after a second. This is happening repeatedly. I want to know what the cause is and whether it causes weakness in my pelvic muscles and loss of stamina. Why so?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
At 15, it is normal to start having sexual thoughts and feelings. This is part of puberty and the development of your sexual health.
Causes:
Puberty brings hormonal changes that can increase sexual thoughts and physical responses. The sensation in your pelvis and genitals is likely due to natural arousal. These sensations and thoughts are not likely to cause weakness in your pelvic muscles.
As an athlete, your stamina is more related to your physical training, nutrition, and overall health than to your sexual thoughts and arousal. Recognize that what you are experiencing is a normal part of growing up and becoming an adult.
I suggest you continue your regular athletic training. Physical activity is good for your overall health and helps manage stress and energy levels. Maintain a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and get enough sleep.
If you experience persistent pain or discomfort in your pelvic area, you must consult a doctor physically.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
