Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I got a post-exposure rabies vaccine. I have extreme health anxiety. My mind says me that the nurse forgot my day 7 vaccine and only day 0, 3, 14 has been taken. To see whether I am fully protected, I got a serology test. But now I am afraid whether these results may be inaccurate. What happens if I become exposed to live rabies within two weeks of getting my vaccines? What to do if my body did not kill the pathogens? Can I have an unbound pathogen in my blood sample and antibodies multiply from it?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your mind produces a symptom of an OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) spectrum disorder. Though you seem to be protected against rabies, vaccination schemes always have a safety buffer. Kindly take treatment for OCD soon.

The Probable causes

You seem to have fear of errors regarding a rabies PE (post-exposure) vaccination.

Probable diagnosis

You seem to have OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) spectrum health anxiety.

Treatment plan

You can take Clonazepam, Promethazine, Propranol, and Lavender capsules (naturopathic anxiolytic).

Preventive measures

You need psychotherapy.

Regarding follow up

Have a follow-up after seven days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
