Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have lower back pain that radiates to my thighs and knees, especially the left side. Pain comes when I wake up in the morning and while sitting or standing. It increases when I stand for a long time. I have had back pain for 5 to 6 months, but this has been happening for four to five days. When I lift weights, pain does not come, and when I bend forward, I get relief. Instead, I feel the pain coming from inside. Please tell me about any medicines. I have taken Combiflam tablets in the past to relieve the pain.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

This can be due to muscle spasms or facet joint pain.

I suggest you take the following tablets:

1. Tablet Ibuprofen 400 mg twice a day for ten days after food.

2. Tablet Rabeprazole 20 mg once daily for ten days before food.

Take these tablets only if you are not allergic to them. Do not take these tablets if you are a known case of bronchial asthma. However, please consult a physician, discuss with them, and start taking the medications with their consent.

Hope this helps.

Thanks and take care.
