Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

As the rats were troubling me, I bought a rat killer cake. I just sprinkled the cake like powder in air. I think a particle could have gone into my mouth. After that I did not swallow anything. Please help me

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. I understand your health concern regarding the ingested particle. If it was only a small particle and not causing any serious problems, the first step is to wash your mouth thoroughly with water and perform gargles with plain water to ensure it doesn't cause any further issues. However, it is important to stay vigilant for any potential complications. If you experience breathing difficulty, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, or restlessness, it is essential to seek immediate medical attention.

To alleviate any possible discomfort, I recommend taking an antacid like Pantodac-D (Pantoprazole and Domperidone) 40 mg as a one-time dose and then twice a day for three days. Additionally, you may take a tablet of Flatuna (Simethicone) twice daily for three days. Before starting any medication, it's advisable to consult your specialist doctor, discuss the situation with them, and obtain their consent for taking these medicines. They can offer personalized advice based on your health condition and ensure the best course of action for your well-being.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
