Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have gastric pain and constipation issues. I have done some blood tests, stool tests, and occult blood tests. I have a lymphocyte count of 42 lymphocytes/mcL and all the other parameters are normal. I have done a liver function test and lipid profile. All the results came back normal.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your blood reports are absolutely normal (attachment removed to protect patient identity). A slight increase in lymphocytes with other counts being normal is not a concern. Lymphocytes get increased in response to viral infections or loose stools. They are called reactive lymphocytosis. For your problems, you can take a good amount of fiber-containing foods like fruits, green leafy vegetables, carrots, and cucumber in your diet. Avoid taking excess tea, coffee, and spicy food to avoid gastritis. It can help you a lot. Have a follow-up after 15 days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
