Screen time can be reduced by tracking the screen time and setting limits, putting off the phone out of the bedroom, removing unnecessary apps from the phone, avoiding watching movies in bed, indulging in some other hobby for boredom. The health experts consider more than two hours of screen time per day as an unhealthy amount of screen time.
