Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have chronic fungal ringworm infection in the groin region. Please suggest some Ayurveda medicine.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Ringworm is a skin disease fungal infection. Mostly occurs in wet areas. Its common symptoms are red skin rash that forms a ring-like structure. That is the area with itching and dryness.

The Probable causes

Infection of tinea group of fungus.

Investigations to be done

Generally not recommended.

Differential diagnosis

Scabies.

Treatment plan

1. Gandhaka Rasayana (Sulphur, Cow milk, Cinnamon, Amala) one tablet thrice a day after meals. 2. Sinduradi lepa (Sindura, Rasasindura, Rasakarpura) - Apply externally three times a day.

Preventive measures

Keep the affected area clean and dry. Wear cotton undergarments.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
