Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I need to interpret my recent laboratory report. It includes blood and urine tests. Could you help me with it?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have checked the attached files thoroughly (the attachment removed to protect the patient's identity).

My comments :

1. You have a lipid problem that requires lifestyle changes as well as meditation.

2. There is low vitamin D deficiency which requires supplements.

3. Microalbuminuria in diabetics requires ACE (angiotensin-converting-enzyme) inhibitor medication.

4. All other values are acceptable.

Kindly let me know about your symptoms and past medical history.

I hope I have cleared all your doubts.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

I do not have any serious medical history except for the occasional viral fever. And I do workouts regularly. This is the first time I am doing a complete check-up. The high microalbumin value is what bothers me. Does it indicate kidney disease? I am an occasional drinker.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I am now available online for immediate advice and discussion.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
