Common "Safe Days" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Safe Days

Ovulation usually happens 10 to 16 days before menstruation begins; except for these seven days, the other 21 days are considered safe. However, since the egg survives for a day after being released, there are chances to get pregnant in the following two days, by it is less likely. Also, depending on the menstrual cycle length, the ovulation period differs, thereby altering the safe period.
