Hello doctor,

I am having a cyst in the brain, maybe from birth. Cannot remember exactly, though it is not giving any problems, but should I worry about it? I am attaching the pictures. Please advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com. I reviewed your uploaded photo (attachment removed to protect patient identity) and would explain that this is not a cyst in the brain. It is a benign sebaceous cyst under the scalp skin. It is not related to the brain. So there is nothing to worry about. If the cyst grows, I would recommend consulting with a surgeon and remove it with simple surgery and local anesthesia. Hope to have been helpful.
