It is a sequential program of removal of teeth. It involves the early removal of one or more deciduous teeth so as to improve the occlusion of the teeth, and the removal of permanent teeth to conserve the ratio between tooth size and arch size. It is more commonly performed in case of class I malocclusion showing a normal bite of more than 10mm.
