Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am five weeks pregnant and yesterday I tried to do sex with my partner. Everything was fine just today when I woke up I saw on my pantyliner pinkish discharge. I am taking Utrogestan, Cyclogest, and Progynova due to my FET. So I am guessing it was discharge mixed with a little blood. Now there is no bleeding or pain in my uterus but I am worried if it was something to concern. I did not have done a scan yet. Is it something I should worry about?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Sex is not contraindicated during pregnancy but still, you should be careful it should not be very harsh or it is better to avoid it. Sometimes slight bleeding may occur after having sex or it might be because of implantation bleeding if it is only spotting then no need to worry much. As you have not done your scan yet so get it done so your doubt will also be get cleared.

Thank you.
