Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain of less serious origin lasting for a short period are more common. Bursitis, arthritis, improper posture while sitting, standing, or lying, muscle strain due to heavyweight, lifting weights with bad posture, muscle and joint injury due to trauma, rotator cuff tear, referred neck pain, polymyalgia rheumatica, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, etc., are conditions affecting the shoulder. Pain in the shoulders may cause an inability to lift or move the hand and arm. Hot compress on the affected area due to any local causes is helpful. Physiotherapy, medications, adequate rest, and surgery (if needed) may resolve the condition.
