Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had some skin problems and have used many medications for a long time. I have a red circular-type infection on my skin. Please tell me what I should do.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to iclinic.com.

I have reviewed the attached photograph (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), and it seems to be a ringworm infection which is a fungal infection. I recommend the following.

(Consult your specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.)

1. Take a capsule of Itraconazole 100 mg twice daily.

2. Apply Terbinafine cream (Terbinafine Hydrochloride) on the affected areas twice daily.

3. Take tablet Cetrizine (Cetrizine Hydrochloride) 10 mg, once or twice daily, depending on the intensity of the itching.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
